The Charity Commission must strip the Homophobic Evangelical Preacher Paul "Kill the Gays" Shinners of his registered charity status. Exporting homophobia and persecuting homosexuals is not charitable...

The Charity Commission is not "fit for purpose" and has persistently failed to tackle abuses of charitable status properly, MPs have said. Margaret Hodge said "radical change" was needed at the organisation...

Paul Shinners, a Cambridgeshire, UK based charity owner, stood on stage at the National Prayer Day in Uganda with a number of known homophobic pastors and joined in with calls to pass the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, which at the time included the DEATH PENALTY. Shinners commended Uganda for the Bill, saying it was a clear stand for God. He said, “There is no other nation world over that has such a plan and through this, Uganda is going to be blessed.”  He runs the "charity" Passion for Souls Ministries and the Cornerstone Cafe in St. Neots.

Paul Shinners has violated the Charity commission rules and has contributed the the human rights abuses taking place in Uganda.   Shinners said, "we could have used our influence to help stop it" over a year ago, but did nothing and the bill is now law. His charity status must be removed and he should apologise to the LGBT community in Uganda and keep his word and try and use his influence to get the law repealed.

Please sign the petition and help get "Passion for Souls" charity status removed and force Paul Shinners to apologise and keep his word.

Despite repeated attempt to get answers from a number of individuals, Shinners has remained silent. Mob violence has dramatically increased in Uganda since the passage of the bill and beating rapes and murders of homosexuals have become a daily occurrence.

Persecuting gay people is not a charitable purpose!

I set up a blog and detailed my correspondence with Paul Shinners, the evidence I have found and information about the situation in Uganda...
