Why this petition matters

Started by Kevin Ebra

The world we live in feels smaller as technology connects us more and more. Our perceptions of what it takes to start a movement has become digital: which is easier and more seamless than how we used to raise awareness about a cause. Giving time, an equal and non-redeemable, will now and forever be the best act of service.
For this reason, we will embark on a unique journey with the Skateman. Taking his passion and raising awareness about a cause that is close to everyone: children all over the world who are suffering from any type of affliction; from poverty to slavery to hanger to neglect.
The Skateman’s will go through seven phases on this journey, as he skates from Vancouver, Canada through North, Central and South America with the message of hope and love for the future. He will aim to close the Brazil 2016 Olympics but will need the support of not only the public and media but the United Nations. The aim is to show that across 2 continents and many countries, there should be no boundaries in helping children across the globe. He will travel, with no passport with the slogan of ‘hope for the future’ a hope of living in a world that celebrates love, peace and unity.
The journey kicks off August 29th, 2015 from Vancouver, Canada…are you on board to help spread the message of love and unity? If so, please help us collect 50,000 signatures by clicking here .
