The Vale of Glamorgan Council propose to close our local village community school and as a result  local catchment areas will be changed, rural communities will be divided and damaged.

Llancarfan school has been providing education to Llancarfan and the surrounding areas since 1875.

We do not want to lose our school, please help us to save it and retain our local heritage.

Instead the Vale of Glamorgan Council propose to build a new 210 pupil primary school, 5 miles outside of Llancarfan village and migrate current pupils to it.
