Event Matches were so fun in Melee. And with Mario Maker showing how to make shared content fun, Smash Bros custom events is a logical addition to the series!

Imagine setting a permanent Heal Zone for a King-of-the-Hill battle. Or a Nidhogg inspired race across multiple maps. Or a trophy tussle atop Avalugg. If it is flexible enough to make past events watch out! Players will create exciting content for each other all while taking avantage of the Switch's online subscription to share and download online.

Not everyone is competitive, Smash Ultimate is a buffet of content and this would be the most fun way to play with it.
