Subject- No supply of VVCMC water in the societies of North West Virar from approximately 5 years

Dear Sir/Madam

With due respect, we would humbly like to bring to your kind attention, regarding our application for non-availability of VVCMC water supply in our societies of North West Virar till date since the time of possession, which is approximately more than 5 years. Due to which, we the residents of North West Virar are totally frustrated as we are facing number of issues. Few of them are briefly mentioned below:

1. We are deprived of clean municipal water, which was promised to us by both builder/promoter and by the authorities and which is one of the most important basic need.

2. Due to unavailability of municipal water supply, from last 5-6 years, we are consuming tanker water, which is unhygienic and not suitable for domestic household usage. TDS of this water is not at all fit for drinking purpose. Most of the time its smells and stinks. This is affecting the health of every residents including women, children and senior citizens. Tank water being unhygienic may lead to chronic diseases.

3. We, the residents of North West Virar, are paying very high monthly maintenance bill which is approximately 2000 to 2500 for just 1bhk and 2bhk flat in Virar just because we are forced to buy tanker water for all our domestic needs. Every flat owner is paying approximately 1000 Rs. per month for tanker water and Rs. 900-1000 per month for bottled drinking water. Due to unavailability of VVCMC water, each flat owner/ family is paying RS 1900-2000 just for water. This has literally affected our family budget.

We as a residents of North West Virar, request your cooperation and action on our request to address our concerns at the earliest possible, so that we can get VVCMC water at the earliest possible/ by end of 2018
