AIRSOFT DEFINITION

Airsoft is a military simulation (MILSIM) sport, similar to its well-known cousin, paintball.  In it, players are given an objective (commonly Team Deathmatch for beginners) which they must complete before the other team in order to achieve victory.  I highly suggest you watch a video to fully appreciate the realism this sport achieves.  The person in the attached video is not me.

CHANNELSUPERFUN PROPOSITION

I love watching Channel Super Fun videos (and all other LMG productions <3 but I don't live in Canada so I can't apply to work with you losers), and one of the best scenarios that I could imagine would be  the chaos that would ensue if we gave Linus an Airsoft gun.  Well, and Dennis for that matter.  There's a 57-acre field just a stone's throw away from the LMG headquarters, practically begging to be abused.  They allow you to walk onto the field with random players or book private events for fairly cheap.  Although you can rent guns at the field, I'd suggest buying a few of these to have some fun back at the office while maintaining proper eye protection.  You would need a 12g CO2 cartridge to operate these, while the ones they rent out use a rechargeable battery (which often dies too quickly).

WARNING

Canada has a more strict view on Airsoft guns than most countries (they consider Airsoft guns to be a form of real firearms), so if any polar bears reading this were to purchase one, you must make sure to purchase a weapon that is "Canada Export Compliant" by having a muzzle velocity between 366 and 500 FPS (feet per second, not frames per second, you damned techies).

Do not use BBs lighter than 0.20g!  I prefer 0.25g if it helps, but never fall for that "0.12g is good enough" cr@p.
