Its been demonstrated several times https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=116&v=ZlCOj1dElDY and written about by prominent personalities that EVMs' in India cannot be 100% tamper proof and hence should be considered as a threat to democracy.Many developed nations banned EVM’s  because they have never been 100% safe & tamper proof.There is lot ambiguity around the EVMs' which should be cleared by bringing back 'Ballot Paper Voting', else elections would soon loose their credibility and would result in demise of democracy.
