On the 18th May, Dr Maszlee Malik has been announced as the Education Minister by the Prime Minister. A former senior fellow to IDEAS and assistant professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, he is also a prominent guest speaker in global leading universities in Political Movements, with a doctorate degree (PhD) from Durham University, United Kingdom in Good Governance.

Having published Foundations of Islamic Governance: A Southeast Asian Perspective (Routledge Studies on Islam and Muslims in Southeast Asia) among many other publications, Dr Maszlee is Malaysia’s esteemed candidate for the Education Minister.

His vast experience in academia and leadership in NGOs (Orkids, Teach for the Needs & etc), steered by passion in nation-building initiatives, let us gather our support for Dr Maszlee to lead our Education Ministry. With reforms in education driving his main agenda, this man is setting the change in education we all have been waiting for.
