For decades now the Empire State Building has been lit up to recognize everything from Sports Teams to Gay Pride , even in recognition of China, a Salute to Isreal , For Microsoft, M&M's and even a Pink Floyd album.  However they recently denied a request to light up Yellow and Gold for Pediatric Cancer Awareness,  The same building that lit up for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes.  As  New Yorkers , we take a lot of pride in our city and what it stands for and what New York represents, However it is appalling and embarassing that The Empire State Building will not light up for Pediatric Cancer, to show all the kids of New York and around the world that we stand with them and their families in their battle, Please read this petition and rethink your decision and light up the Empire State building Yellow and Gold in September for Pediatric Cancer Awareness .
