MRs. Adriana Rivas is a chilean national currently residing in Australia.  Mrs Rivas has eluded Chilean Justice since 2006 when she was arrested during one of her many travels to Chile. 

Mrs.Rivas was charged with aggravated kidnapping, kidnappings that resulted in the torture and disappearance of Fernando Ortiz,Victor Diaz,Fernando Navarro, Lincoyan Barrios, Horacio Cepeda, Hector Veliz and Reinalda Pereira.

As per broadcast on ABC Foreign Correspondent 25th March, Mrs. Rivas continues to evade the law.

We call on the Australian government to assist the Chilean Judiciary in all its efforts to deliver Justice to the families of these victims.

We also call on the Australian government to explain why a person accused of such crimes has been allowed to reside in Australia.
