Why this petition matters

Started by Griff Roberts

We do not believe that an adequate number of Service Users' opinions have been collected so far and thus any decisions made by taking Service Users' opinions into account will not be representative.

We believe that these Human Immunodeficiency Virus & Genito-Urinry Medicine services should remain operating in their current working form. Splitting these services across different locations and/or service providers makes no sense, especially in an area of health that is notoriously difficult to get people actively involved. Any changes will be a Public Health Disaster and result in a fragmented service which could risk service users confidentiality & cause an increase of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) including HIV/AIDS, while also disproportionally effecting people living with HIV/AIDS.
