On November 6th, Const. John Davidson of the Abbotsford Police Department was gunned down by an armed assailant while selflessly protecting the public. 

He put himself in harms way and is a hero to everyone in this town. 

We are petitioning Mayor Henry Braun and the Abbotsford City Council to rename Automall Drive to Const. John Davidson Way.

We had chosen this location due to the close proximity to Mt. Lehman Centre — which most of us pass by on a daily basis. It was our way of redeeming that particular location/area.  

 This is just one way that our community can recognize Davidson’s heroism which could also include names on buildings, parks, and schools. He deserves full honor in our town.
