Deal is a vibrant town with a popular high street filled with independent shops, a historic pier that attracts anglers and sightseers from miles around, and everything to entertain tourists and day-trippers alike. 

But that may all come under threat if Dover District Council continue with their ill-thought through plan to charge for car parking on a Sunday. 

We, the undersigned, call upon Dover District Council to think again and cancel all plans to charge for car parking in Deal on a Sunday. We may have a buzzing town now but that isn’t guaranteed, especially when plans like this are put out without any idea of the consequences.
