LG Electronics is blocking consumers and developers of a feature the LG G6 is capable of doing, running custom kernels.

Consumers and developers who bought many variants of LG G6 smartphones are being deprived of their freedom to modify their personal property.

LG Electronics has unlocked only H870 variant of G6's bootloader, but many are still locked. Through allowing people the opportunity to unlock their bootloaders, LG Electronics will encourage developers to use LG Electronics mobile phones to develop on rather than other devices.

It is time that LG Electronics unlocks all variants of unlocked LG Electronics G6 smartphone's bootloaders and gives people the right to modify their own personal property, a right that is inherent on millions of other smartphones produced by other companies.
