And "A time to keep silence, and a time to speak." (Ecc 3:7)

In response to the apostolic exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, by Pope Francis, four cardinals sought definitive clarification from the pope concerning statenents and propositions made in this document by respectfully asking five questions. More than a year has passed with the pope obstinately refusing to answer the legitimate and respectful Dubia raised by these cardinals.

The Second Vatican Council produced many disasterous results with the current abandonment of the Church's perennial Magisterial teaching being the latest. Through the intervening years the faithful have meekly accepted the dismantaling of the Catholic Faith with increasing forboding. Amoris Laetitia, however, is a step too far. I submit the time has come for us, the faithful, to speak, to make known to those with the authority to take the needed steps to halt the destruction of the Church. We need to be respectfully loud and clear, expressing our concern regarding the souls who are being led astray and to encourage and to plead with Cardinals Burke and Brandmuller to take the next step in the correction process. To this end I have created this petition to obtain as many signatures as possible by Good Friday, 2018. The contents of this petition will be the following letter.

Dear Eminences;

We are writing on behalf of the many faithful, orthodox Catholics around the world who have grave concerns regarding the direction in which the leadership is taking the Church, particularly the severe damage that may be done as a result of Amoris Laetitia and its erroneous implementation by various bishops conferences.

We know Pope Francis has refused to respond to the proper and respectful questions raised by the Dubia for more than a year. We sincerely believe the inclusion of Amoris Laetitia, along with the pope's private letter to the Argentine bishops as a positive response to their interpretation of his apostolic exhortation, in the Acta Apostolicae Sedis is Pope Francis' answer to the Dubia and is indicative of obstinancy. Although we are aware that many concerns and issues regarding the next step must weigh heavily on your hearts and minds. Yet, we believe the Church's mission to save souls override and supercede all other concerns and issues. We likewise know that there is a proper protocol for any correction to the Church's course laid out and followed by the licitly elected Vicar of Christ. However, each passing day without the formal correction results in more and more souls becoming enmeshed in this tangle of error, putting their souls at grave risk by accepting this teaching by the pope.

Therefore, after months of prayerful consideration, we believe it is our bounden duty as faithful Catholics to earnestly and respectfully plead with you, for the sake of the Church, its mission and the souls of all her members and the world, to take the next step in the correction process by immediately delivering to Pope Francis the first of the two required warnings.
