The new YPP (YouTube Partnership Program) rules state:
You need 4000 hours of watch time within the last 12 months and 1000 subscribers.
This is terrible for all small and growing channels because some have way more views than subs and some have the opposite. Also channels that upload in certain categories, like tutorials, get a lot of views, but not so many subs!
It would be good for everyone if these new YPP rules would be removed or altered! The idea to have 4000 hours watch time OR 1000 subs would already be a lot better.
