Las compañías aereas no admiten el transporte de instrumentos musicales dentro de la cabina del avión, obligando que los valiosos objetos sean transportados en la bodega del avión y por consecuencia, tratados como cualquier maleta normal y corriente, produciendo roturas irreparables y estropeando irreversiblemente objetos únicos y antiguos de gran valor artístico.
Nosotros, los músicos instrumentistas, no podemos vivir sin viajar y tenemos que tener condiciones optimas para poder desarollar nuestra profesión. Nuestros hijos, si se dedican a la misma profesión que nosotros, también tienen que viajar para ir a la escuela, que a veces se encuentra en otra ciudad o en otro país. Y no existen tarifas para estudiantes... es decir, ellos tienen que pagar el precio de 2 billetes: uno para ellos y otro para su instrumento. Es inconcebible, son ESTUDIANTES, no tienen ingresos.

La música es arte, es cultura y es uno de los más importantes valores de la humanidad. Y nosotros somos los discipulos y “humildes servidores” de este noble arte, y NECESITAMOS NUESTROS INSTRUMENTOS para ejercitar nuestra profesión. Los instrumentos musicales son parte de nosotros: son nuestra voz, son nuestras manos, son nuestras almas.
Las compañías aereas TIENEN QUE CAMBIAR su politica de equipaje de mano y permitir el transporte de instrumentos musicales de dimensiones reducidas (violínes, violas, trompetas, clarinetes, etc) dentro de la cabina del avión, gratuitamente (si el estuche del instrumento cabe en el espacio reservado a los equipajes de cabina) o a un precio razonable (en caso de que el instrumento es más grande y no cabe en el espacio arriba mencionado, como los chelos por ejemplo).

Bajo ningún concepto se debería cobrar para el instrumento (cómo se está haciendo ahora, de manera abusiva) un Extra Seat cuyo precio sea igual al precio de un billete destinado a una persona de carne y hueso. Simplemente porque una persona pesa aproximadamente 75 kg y ocupa un volumen mucho más grande que un instrumento. Y la persona también usa el baño del avión y trae equipaje de mano, cosa que el instrumento no trae. Porqué para un instrumento se tiene que pagar lo mismo, aunque en muchos casos cabe en el espacio destinado a las maletas de cabina y ni siquiera ocupa un asiento? Es un abuso, y es hora de que se ponga fin a esta situación.
Basta ya de destrozar tantos instrumentos de valor, que forman parte del patrimonio de la humanidad, metiéndolos en la bodega del avion, rompiéndolos a golpes y a bajas temperaturas! Y basta ya de ridiculizar y de despreciar el oficio de tanta gente.
Músicos profesionales y aficionados a la música de todo el mundo, por favor, apoyad esta causa: es para el bien de todos!

We instrumental musicians can not live without traveling and we have to have optimal conditions to develop our profession. Our children, if they dedicate themselves to the same profession as us, also have to travel to go to school, which is sometimes in another city or another country. And there are no fees for students ... that is, they have to pay the price of 2 tickets: one for them and another for their instrument. It is inconceivable, they are STUDENTS, they have no income.
Music is art, it is culture and it is one of the most important values ​​of humanity. And we are the disciples and "humble servants" of this noble art, and WE NEED OUR INSTRUMENTS to exercise our profession. Musical instruments are part of us: they are our voice, they are our hands, they are our souls.
Air carriers MUST CHANGE their hand luggage policy and allow the transport of musical instruments of reduced dimensions (violins, violas, trumpets, clarinets, etc.) inside the cabin of the plane, free of charge (if the instrument case fits in the space reserved for cabin baggage) or at a reasonable price (in case the instrument is larger and does not fit in the space mentioned above, such as cellos for example).
Under no circumstances should be charged for the instrument (how it is being done now, abusively) an Extra Seat whose price is equal to the price of a ticket intended for a person of flesh and blood. Simply because a person weighs approximately 75 kg and occupies a much larger volume than an instrument. And the person also uses the bathroom of the plane and brings hand luggage, which the instrument does not bring. Why does the same have to be paid for an instrument, although in many cases it fits in the space used for cabin bags and does not even occupy a seat? It is an abuse, and it is time for this situation to end.
Enough to destroy so many valuable instruments, which are part of the heritage of humanity, putting them in the hold of the plane, breaking them to blows and at low temperatures! And enough to ridicule and despise the office of so many people.
