Juwan Whitehead, a student and community leader from Baltimore, Maryland, is in his junior year, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Cyber Security at Morgan State University. Juwan was placed on a University sanction, which is disciplinary probation by Morgan State University as a result of allegations regarding a violation of the student code of conduct. As a result of his probation, Juwan was deprived of a student government position he occupied, that being the title of "Mr. Junior" (Juwan previously served as Mr. Freshman and Mr. Sophomore). Serving as a testimony that you can succeed despite the conditions or circumstances of your immediate environment that may present obstacles for Baltimore City inner-youth, who have viewed Juwan as a role-model throughout the years, and his fellow peers who have developed an immense degree of respect, appreciation and admiration for him, Juwan exhibited high hopes of one day campaigning for another prestige title at Morgan State University. The time for Juwan to pursue a reign in occupancy of this title is nearing as the 2018-2019 academic school year campaign/election season is approaching, however Juwan's probation isn't scheduled to end until October of 2018. We, the student-body of Morgan State University, are petitioning so that Juwan Whitehead will be allowed to pursue this longing goal of his and to fairly campaign for possible election and furthermore continuing his persistent and diligent efforts of serving his beloved University.
