Twenty-two dogs died due to what is claimed to be heat exhaustion while in boarding at the Green Acre Dog Boarding facility in Gilbert, AZ.  Valor, the twenty-third dog succumbed to the trauma of being hit by a car at some point after he escaped the facility.  These precious dogs and their grieving families deserve justice.

The dogs' families were originally told that their beloved dogs had escaped but that facility workers were out searching.  Those families who were able joined in the search only later to discover their beloved dogs dead piled up in a shed.  The at fault party is claiming the dogs were last checked Thursday night at about 11 p.m. by people working at the facility, and the workers returned Friday morning, at about 5:30 a.m., to find a large number of dogs dead and others on the brink of death.  Workers called the business owners, who returned from Florida on Friday night.  However, the owners did not notify the owners of the dogs until Saturday morning, a full 24 hours after the dogs were discovered dead.   (Source, D.S. Please sign this petition to ask County Attorney Bill Montgomery to prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law once he has received and reviewed the results of the thorough investigation being done by Sheriff Joe Arpaio.  These beloved family members and their families deserve justice.
