In the early hours of April 19, 2014 my neighbor threw a piece of hamburger meat laced with antifreeze over my fence. My baby Bear wasn't cruel, vicious or mean.... He loved everyone!! This man has already been arrested for retaliation against me and for knocking down officers in attempt to run to my house and kill me. I took Bear to the vet but his kidneys had shut down, and he was having seizures one after another and I had to put him to sleep. He was 6 years and 4 months old.... Perfectly healthy. The vet said it was the most cruel thing he had ever experienced and he was willing to testify in court along with the other staff that tried so hard to save my baby. The vet then seperated Bears plasma from his blood, took it to his own lab, and in his own time  he ran tests. He couldn't believe how much antifreeze was in his system so he ran it twice. He also tested the meat Bear had thrown up to confirm that's what poisoned him. Since then this man admitted to another neighbor what he did, physically assaulted my father and I in broad daylight and has made numerous comments about killing my dog and being above the law. Bear was put down April 20, 2014 (Easter) surrounded with love and adoration but heart break. More than anything in the world I need my baby back but I can't have that. I want justice. Temple, Texas PD told me "it's JUST a class B misdemeanor", yet in all 50 states it's a felony. They are sweeping this under the rug and saying "JUST"!! I want justice I want change. I've been forced to move out of my home and into a hotel for safety because the police won't act.
