I was removed from a loving and caring foster home because I formed a bond with my foster family. for the first time in 14 years I felt loved, cared for, valued, and wanted. I was free from abuse and neglect for 9 and a half months. on August 6th we had a trial for change of placement I was not allowed to speak to the judge which is my right, I was not allowed to speak to my attorney before or during the trial which was my right, I had no say I had no rights. I wanted to stay where I was continue going to the same school that I had been going to for many years I wanted to stay with my friends and I wanted to stay with my foster family.I live on a quiet street and for the first time I had my very own dog Bubbles, she was my joy. I was looking forward to the upcoming school year and all the new classes I was going to take but now I'm stuck in a place an hour away from my school my foster family, all my friends and everything I loved. I was doing well in foster care I was doing everything everyone asked of me. You cannot fix 14 years of abuse, neglect, and mistrust in a few months. My biological family and I were working towards learning how to communicate and get along in family counseling the progress was slow but steady. I don't know where I'm going to school where I will be living and you will be living what I have not been given this information as is my right and I would just like to go home to the foster family is loving cared for me for over 9 months, I don't think it's fair that I had to be moved just because I bonded with my foster family and grew to love them because they treated me like I was an individual and like I was special. please help me get this message to someone who can help turn this around who can make my life happy again.
