Boris Johnson has always been more famous for his charm than his intelligence. However, in a recent speech, he added to his peppery record of controversies by declaring that social inequality arises from differences in IQ. Boris Johnson is an extremely wealthy man, with reported net wealth of around £114 million, and if IQ and wealth are correlated, he should be able to produce a very high score on a monitored test.

Signatories of this petition politely request that Boris take an IQ test under supervision, and have his score independently verified. Mr Johnson is firmly lodged in the upper strata of society's 0.1 percenters in terms of wealth. Therefore, according to IQ test statistics, and following his logic, he should be able to score 155 points, something 0.1 percent of people can achieve. However, a score of 150 would be enough to convince petitioners that Boris has got more than just yellow fluff between his ears, and would help to prove his point.
